Rev Dead's Top 6 Vampire Movies!!

Rev Dead's Top 5 Vampire Movies!! Yeah those other creatures that sink their teeth into the human race and have been horrible misrepresented by bad teenage films where Vampires decide to spend eternity in the presence of depressing teenagers...Fuck Just stake me!!! Anyway before Vampires went to the true darkside of the cinema, they were actually cool....

#6 Near Dark
A mid-western farm boy reluctantly becomes a member of the undead when a girl he meets turns out to be part of a band of southern vampires who roam the highways in stolen cars. Part of his initiation includes a bloody assault on a hick bar From IMDB.com
Great flick One of my favorite lines is when Sarah Colton (Marcie Leeds) says " Boy You guys stay up late" and Bill Paxton's character Severen replies "We keep odd hours"

#5 Vampires
John Carpenter just knows what he is doing, period...The man is a Genius. He made James Woods into a bad ass Vampire Hunter and the head Vampire spooky as shit!!!

#4 The Lost Boys

This one brought Vampires up to date (at the time) but it still holds up. And the Frog brothers are great, they are bad asses but when the shit gets real they scream like the rest of us would. A definite Friday night, popcorn movie flick!!!

#3 Fright Night

The remake is alright, but the original is the measuring stick, especially Evil Ed when he becomes a Vampire and is in Charlie Brewster's house reading the not from mom, to Peter Vincent.." Oh, well, she's working nights. BUT!... she left a note.
[He chuckles like a speed freak as he removes the note from his pocket. He reads it]
Evil Ed: Mmmmmm mmm! His dinner... is in the oven!

#2 Underworld

Okay Maybe more of an Action Flick than a "horror" movie But it is still a vampire movie and Kate Beckinsale in tight leather (or rubber) as a vampire...

Fuck Yeah!!!

#1 From Dusk Till Dawn
I went to see this at the Theatre with no expectations what so ever. And I came out with the opinion it is my favorite Vampire flick of all time (and still is) It starts out as a heist film and goes Nosferatu halfway through..

And again thinking as a Guy Salma Hayek's dance scene..
Fantastic!!
