Rev Dead's October's Horror Flick Countdown!!! 31 Of My Favorites!!! #1 John Carpenter's Halloween

And here it is the #1 Movie in Rev Dead's October's Horror Flick Countdown!!! 31 Of My Favorites!!!...Tomorrow we get back to All Zombies all the time...But today I want to celebrate my favorite Flick John Carpenter's Halloween. You never see blood (except a dab in the first scene when young Michael kills his sister) this is not your typical gore fest it hearkens back to Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho were your mind makes you believe you saw something terrible when in fact if you watch bit by bit with no music it really is not much at all. The pacing, the music and The Shape (Michael Myers) along with Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode make this film one I watch at least two to three times a year and will be watching this evening as I wait for trick or treaters.  Halloween Is my all time favorite Haoor film, hell it is in the top 3 of my all time favorite movies. So I hope you enjoyed our countdown this month, I had fun doing it and may do something similar later this coming year with Zombie flicks but for now Have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!
Some of the best quotes of the film....
From IMDB.com
Dr. Sam Loomis: I met him, fifteen years ago; I was told there was nothing left; no reason, no conscience, no understanding; and even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year-old child, with this blank, pale, emotionless face, and the blackest eyes... the devil's eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven trying to keep him locked up because I realized that what was living behind that boy's eyes was purely and simply... evil.

Tommy Doyle: Laurie, what's the boogeyman?
Laurie: There's no such thing.

Dr. Sam Loomis: You've fooled them, haven't you Michael?
But not me.

Sheriff Leigh Brackett: It's Halloween, everyone's entitled to one good scare.

Lynda: Totally! (about a hundred times)

Lynda: You see anything you like?
