Zombie Style 4th!!!!

First and foremost Revolution Dead wants to thank all of our men and women who have

not enjoy the freedoms that we do.

FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE!!! God Bless you all!

I wanted to find some Patriotic Zombie art and I did. Here are some that I pulled from the Net. Not going to say much about them just that they are cool pics so Enjoy and Happy 4th!!!

Zombie History: Look back to the Grave!!!

I wanted to do a this day in history type thing but was finding it dificult to locate exact days that coincided with the days I wanted. I also wanted to give little tidbits or unknown facts about the films and do something a little diferent than our Random Zombie Bites!!!

So I am going with A Zombie History.. The first is Revolt of the Zombies

In June of 1936 Victor Halperin brought this tale to life about an international expedition that is sent into Cambodia to destroy an ancient formula that turns men into zombies.

Victor directed 17 films, which include White Zombie, Supernatural, and Tourture Ship and got his start as a stage actor.

I also discovered while locating a film for this first entry. Bela Lugosi has a part in this film. His eyes do anyway.

Victor Halperin Used the eyes of Bela Lugosi from his earlier film White Zombie. They are superimposed throughout the film.
If you are into old horror films this is available through the 100 Horror Movies Box set from Mill Creek

On the Franco-Austrian Frontier during WW I, an oriental priest, chaplain of a French colonial regiment, is condemned to life imprisonment because he possesses the power of turning men into zombies. As the priest,in his prison cell, is preparing to burn the parchment containing the location of the secret formula, Colonel Mazovia kills the priest and takes the partially-burned parchment. Fade to after the war to an expedition of representatives from all the Allied countries (only those with colonial interests it appears) being sent to Cambodia to find and destroy forever the Secret of the Zombies. The group includes Colonel Mazovia (somewhat akin to sending the fox to guard the hen house); a student of dead languages, Armand Louque; Englishman Clifford Grayson; and General Duval and his daughter Claire. Armand falls in love with Claire, who accepts his proposal of marriage in order to spite Clifford whom she really loves. Later, when Claire, following an accident, runs to Cliff for ...

True Zombie Love!!

In the case of Zombie Love...The way to a Zombies heart is your brain.

A bit blurry so the bottom reads...

"True Love doesn't conquer all but does keep the Zombie plague in check"

Random Zombie Bite!!! Warm Bodies Review and Junket!!

Although I have posted this one in the past a piece I edited together from a Movie Junket (part of my paying gig) I finally got to see this

flick. Overall it was okay, you see most of the gags and jokes in the trailer.

And bottom line, it is the Zombie Romeo and Juliet even to the point that the female leads name is Julie and the Zombie lead (due to the fact he forgot his name when he became a Zombie) is R. Decent flick worth a rent I probably would not buy it to watch over and over.

Here is my piece I put together from Great Day St. Louis (the show I work on)

Zombie Bears? Fuck!!

It's one thing dealing with your average stumbling bumbling Zombie, But if the infection hits the forest....Well...
